As we navigate and adapt to this difficult time, we encourage patients to try to remain at home unless absolutely necessary. To assist in this effort, Synergy Physical Therapy has implemented a new telehealth service through that is available for existing patients. Telemedicine appointments are a great way to help prevent any setbacks. Yes, we do give out plenty of "homework," but aches and pains can be addressed sooner which helps you in the road of recovery.


How do telemedicine appointments work?

Appointments are conducted via video chat and can be done over smartphone, tablet, or computer. After scheduling, we will send you a link at the time of your appointment that will allow you to join the video call. Calls last roughly 30 minutes, and our goal to keep patients progressing through treatmnet even though we can't be face to face. 


Are telemedicine calls covered by insurance?

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, insurance providers are allowing telemedicine through May 29th. We will still complete an insurance verification to make sure your plan covers telemedicine appointments. 

Medicare is referring to telemedicine appointments as "e-visits," and is allowing patients 1 appointment per week.
